Site Shala is an educational program designed to provide basic education and skill development to children of construction workers. Our initiative began a year ago, and since then, we have been dedicated to improving the lives of these children by empowering them with knowledge and skills. Our program aims to educate children between the ages of 3 and 14 who live on construction sites and have little to no access to formal education. We provide a safe and secure learning environment for them to learn and grow.
We offer a curriculum that covers basic subjects such as math, English, hindi , gujarati. We also provide practical skills such as reading, counting and writing etc which will be helpful in their everyday life.
In our ongoing mission to create meaningful connections and spread joy, we recently spent a great day with the resilient kids from the leprosy colony. Recognizing the importance of experiences that many take for granted, we decided to treat these enthusiastic learners to a day of fun and learning. Our destination for the day […]
The act of giving is one of the most beautiful and fulfilling actions that we as humans can undertake. And when it comes to donating clothes and footwear, the impact that it can have on someone’s life can be tremendous. For many of us, clothing and footwear are essentials that we take for granted. But for those who are less fortunate, they can be a luxury that they simply cannot afford. This is where, Snehshilp Foundation come into play. By conducting clothes and footwear drives, we are providing a platform for people to donate their excess clothing and footwear to those who need it the most. The beauty of such initiatives is that they not only help the needy but also promote minimalism, which is an important concept in today’s world where consumerism is rampant.
In the Indian tradition, the auspicious occasion of Navratri unfolds nine days of devotion, dance, and divine celebrations. Amidst the joyous festivities, the eighth and ninth days bring forth a sacred Hindu ritual known as Kanya Puja. The young girls, considered representations of the goddess’s divine energy, are worshipped on this day. At SnehShilp […]

A birthday to remember!
Benzir wanted to celebrate her birthday differently this time. She wanted to cut a cake but with someone special. She also wanted the attention but from someone else. That’s when she decided to come to SnehShilp Foundation. Being a fond lover of kids and a mother to a one-year-old herself, Benzir decided to spend her special day with the slum kids. Her experience was unexplainable. She said she felt an inner joy being with the kids. They made her feel special like never before. With teary eyes she said that sometimes we get so much from the ones we never expect from. A true example of strangers becoming pals.
On 73rd Republic Day, SnehShilp Foundation launched its initiative of ‘Help on Wheels’ which is a van that runs across the city and collects the extra food from the kitchens of the religious places and offers it to people who are unable to manage the daily food needs of their family. Currently, this van is plying in selected areas and is already reaching out to more than 400 families per day. With efforts of volunteers at SnehShilp Foundation, we aim to take this number to 2000 families soon. We recognized the multiple efforts that a woman makes each day of her life. Our Founder, Mrs. Snehal Brahmbhatt took a visit to one of our construction sites to honour the work of the women workers who leave behind so much and toil for the betterment of their families. After seeing the plight of women who are unaware or unable to manage their basic needs, SnehShilp Foundation volunteered and distributed sanitary kits to all the women at the site. Not only that, but volunteers also explained to the workers the importance of hygiene and how one can maintain it.
A day filled with warmth and shared smiles unfolded as the Sneh Shilp team made a special trip to Ambaji with the beloved residents of Rahel Ba Vrudh Ashram. These remarkable individuals, who have become an integral part of the Sneh Shilp Foundation family, were in for a treat. Our connection with this shelter […]
