Enabling Through Education

Site Shala is an educational program designed to provide basic education and skill development to children of construction workers. Our initiative began a year ago, and since then, we have been dedicated to improving the lives of these children by empowering them with knowledge and skills.

Our program aims to educate children between the ages of 3 and 14 who live on construction sites and have little to no access to formal education. We provide a safe and secure learning environment for them to learn and grow.

We offer a curriculum that covers basic subjects such as math, English, hindi , gujarati. We also provide practical skills such as reading, counting and writing etc which will be helpful in their everyday life.

 

We believe that every child has the potential to learn and grow, and we strive to make learning an enjoyable and interactive experience for them. Our teachers use a variety of teaching methods such as storytelling, role-playing, and games to make the learning process engaging and effective.

We also encourage parents to be involved in their child’s education by attending parent-teacher meetings and volunteering to help with activities. This helps to create a strong community that supports the children’s educational goals.

Father’s Day Gift​

Sneh Shilp Foundation spotted children from remote parts of the city and identified their thirst to learn. We realized that they were not able to utilize their right to education for lack of money. In association with Radio Mirchi, RJ Harsh spent a day with the kids understanding their state of mind and their current situation. 

The foundation is now sponsoring the education needs of these children. We always believe that growth lies in self-reliance and to make children independent is the best that we can do to contribute to the development of the country as a whole.
